RSS Made Easy
If you haven´t read Adrian Ling´s RSS Made Easy you should do it soon. I completed it for the second time yesterday then made copious notes. Its the first time that an internet-marketing-related product has forced me to take notes. But with the wide possibilities of RSS marketing you need to take notes to capture your own ideas.
This book finally explains:
- what the big deal is about blogs
- what the exact big deal is about RSS
- why it may be important that you learn about RSS technologies now
I won´t say more for fear of sounding like a sales letter. But this is a simple read that took a subject I was afraid of, and made it easy.
The book explains that there is tremedous potential ahead for the use of RSS in sites and new products and also for getting links to your site. There are already possiblities for getting affiliate-linked-RSS content direct from vendors such as Amazon and Commission Junction.
If you´re wanting to create any ecommerce site in 2004 or beyond, this book is well worth your time - RSS made easy.
