Are you ignoring easy money on Yahoo?
Are you overlooking easy cash on Yahoo? Think about it.
I'm not always 100% sure what it takes to get to the top of that particular search engine, but I DO know that it takes much less linking and off-page popularity work as is does on Google.
One of the best known SEO teachers gave this example of his new website that got to number 1 of Yahoo with only a couple of links.
He used this as an example to show Yahoo relies more on one page factors than Google does.
Its interested that another SEO newsletter I was reading yesterday gave an almost opposite example - a site that ranks well on Google, with no on page text at all - but a TON of links.
Which takes longer, getting links or writing a page of content? And as you know, Google likes to "sandbox" these days which means your new site won't be appearing high in the SERPS anytime soon.
Everyone's always talking about Google - Google this Google that...how to get more links and Page Rank to get your site listed higher in Google SERPS.
Noone ... hardly noone talks about the Yahoo engine.
But could it be that in 2005, the real SEO treasure lies on Yahoo/MSN?
