Are Website Templates Too Complicated For You?
Because they are for me.
Has you ever used a website template to build a site? I'd be suprised if you have because most of the ones I've seen are totally unsuitable for marketing.
I'm looking for simple website templates to use on some web directories I'm building. But most templates I've seen are way too complicated for that job.
All I need is a header graphic on top and some styled text and links.
That's more than most entrepeneurs need but I've struggled to find anything that is simple enough.
I'm determined to cut down my design time though, so today I wrote in desperation to a company called basictemplates.com. They are the closest thing to an ideal template company for business, but even their templates are too complicated for me.
I wrote asking them if they can provide me with ready layed out CSS color schemes and some simple one column page designs. I might actually post the letter I wrote.
