New way of Yahoo Pinging worked too well
I've had an incredibly busy last few days in my web life and learned a few hard lessons. I can't believe just 4 days have passed since my last post.
First of all my test of a new way of pinging Yahoo worked brilliantly - almost too well. I say almost too well because almost immediately after I pinged my site registered a change in Yahoo.
I couldn't believe it and wondered if this was some kind of coincidence. You have to test things to make sure. And the only way to know for sure is to get rid of the spider so that I can test again.
And the way to do get rid of the spider is to not post for a while. After a while they'll lose interest. 4 days should be enough, so now I can post again.
So I will gain monitor the site in the Yahoo search engine and report back my results.
