Why do people use Blogger.com?
I tried using blogger.com yesterday to put a blog on a couple of sites I'm building. I was hoping that this would be a cheap way to regularly update blogs on a number of sites using their mail to blog feature.
But lo and behold when I tried and it wasn't working for me.
No problem, so I emailed support and waited for a responce. Which never came.
In my subject I asked why people use blogger.com. In reality I know there are lots of good reasons and they do give you a great deal absolutely for free. Blogger is a very useful service that has empowered many people to create their first sites easily.
But in my case the days when I use a centralised service and wait around for big-company support are long gone. So if I need a new blog I'm gonna create one myself, and host it on my own server.
